Terms of Service
Effective August 10, 2026
These terms apply when you use Omusubi Japan and purchase restaurant recommendation or personalized day-plan services.
Service
AI is used only to organize your preferences. Final recommendations are researched and reviewed by a Japan-based native Japanese team member. Restaurant bookings, attraction tickets, transport and other third-party purchases are not included unless expressly stated.
Account and information
You must provide accurate, current information and keep access to your verified email. You are responsible for checking allergies, accessibility, opening hours, availability, prices, visa or travel requirements, and other time-sensitive facts before acting.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in USD and charged once through Stripe. Foreign-exchange fees, card fees, connectivity costs and any taxes imposed by your location or provider may be additional. Work begins after payment and the preference interview are confirmed.
Delivery and scope
The stated 24-hour and 48-hour delivery windows are targets measured after the interview is complete, not guarantees. One purchase covers one recommendation or plan and one follow-up thread. We will notify you of material delays.
Acceptable use and third parties
Do not submit unlawful, harmful or third-party confidential content. Recommendations are informational; third-party venues and services control their own availability, safety, quality and terms.
Liability and law
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss or third-party changes beyond our control. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Japanese law governs, and disputes are subject to the competent courts in Japan.
