This policy explains how Omusubi Japan, operated by Shirokane Suri, LLC, handles personal information.
Information we collect
Account and contact information; request preferences and messages; declared country of residence; verified email, phone number and billing country returned by Stripe; amounts and Stripe transaction references; and security, device and access logs. We do not store names or detailed billing addresses from Stripe Checkout, full card numbers, or card security codes.
How we use it
To authenticate users, take payment, keep tax and accounting records, conduct the AI-assisted preference interview, provide human-reviewed recommendations, translate messages, prevent abuse, respond to support and refunds, and comply with law.
Processors and international handling
We use service providers including Firebase/Google Cloud, Stripe, Anthropic and our web hosting provider. Data may be processed outside your country under their safeguards. We disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
Retention and your choices
We retain records only as long as needed for service delivery, legal accounting/tax periods, disputes, security and backups. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion; some transaction records must be retained.
